In her new position, Gaspar leads a team in charge of talent acquisition, performance management, succession and development planning, as well as diversity advancement. She will also lead human resources efforts for the U.S. operations of Lamborghini, Bentley, and Bugatti. Gaspar replaces Ulli Link, former General Manager of Human Resources. After four years with Audi of America, Link accepted a position heading up sales and marketing talent development globally across Volkswagen AG brands.
Gaspar, as part of the Audi of America management team, will report to Audi President Scott Keogh and Mike Beamish, head of Volkswagen Group of America HR. Gaspar will support Audi of America as it enters the biggest growth phase in its history, debuting 12 new vehicles over the next three years.
“We plan to lean heavily on Christine’s deep and broad experience with global luxury brands in both organizational development and talent procurement as we enter a period of rapid expansion of our product line in the U.S.,” Keogh said.
Gaspar previously served as Vice President and HR Business Partner for Global Operations at Marriott International where she was responsible for leading organization effectiveness and talent management. She also previously led global talent management strategies, succession planning and employee communications for The Ritz-Carlton. While in her role, she oversaw the design and launch of a new global employer brand, aimed to refresh the brand’s employment identity for current and future employees.
Prior to her years at Marriott, Gaspar spent eight years as a management consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, a professional services firm. There, she led strategic workforce projects for U.S. public and private industry clients as well as international government clients. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from La Salle University and resides in the Washington D.C. metro area.
