Audi of America, based in Herndon, Virginia, is contending for leadership of America’s premium automotive market. In 2015, Audi of America delivered more than 200,000 vehicles for the first time and exceeded that number through 2017, achieving its eighth straight year of record annual sales. In 2020, the brand is launching its broadest and most ambitious product lineup. This is concurrent with investment by many of the more than 300 independently owned U.S. Audi dealers in new or renovated, state-of-the-art facilities.
Audi, which sells a full line of coupes, sedans, SUVs and performance vehicles, from the A3 to the R8 Spyder, earns top ratings for vehicle safety. From the Big Game to the silver screen, Audi continues to cement its place at the center of culture, while shaping the national conversation about the future of mobility and advancing connected vehicle technology.
The brand is committed to working towards a more sustainable and electrified future. In 2019, Audi introduced the brand's first fully electric vehicle – the Audi e-tron SUV – to be followed by three additional models in the near future including the e-tron Sportback, e-tron GT and Q4 e-tron. By 2025, at least one third of the Audi portfolio in the U.S. is expected to be electric. Globally, the brand aims to be CO2 neutral by 2050. Audi of America intends to maintain the same focus that has driven its success: thrilling current Audi fans and creating new ones.
