For the fifth consecutive year, Audi will return with its annual pre-Emmy event, red carpet presence, online videos and in-show commercials. Audi will elevate its Emmy Awards presence with the debut of the all-new Audi A3 Sportback e-tron®, the brand’s first luxury plug-in hybrid. Two new television commercials featuring the all-new Audi A3 Sportback e-tron plug-in hybrid and the all-new Audi TT will air throughout the weekend, as well as an entertaining online video featuring The Muppets.

Throughout the weekend, Audi will also showcase the all-new A3 Sportback e-tron plug-in hybrid with a television commercial called “New Arrival.” In the spot, the viewer will experience the powerful performance of the Audi A3 e-tron plug-in hybrid, as it punctures the quiet of an idyllic, eco-friendly neighborhood by performing an incredible power-slide before backing into its driveway. A 45-, 30- and 15-second version will air throughout the weekend on network and cable television.

Throughout the weekend, Audi will also debut a new 30-second television commercial highlighting the 2016 Audi TT entitled “Reality? Check.” Leveraging the innovative tilt-shift photography style that produces a surreal effect, the spot will take the viewer on a highly-visual and exciting journey with the all-new Audi TT. In the spot, a 10-year-old-boy plays with a toy-sized Audi TT and helicopter as he begins to dream. He envisions his Audi TT entering into his imaginary stunt-world conjuring up the Audi racing heritage. The Audi TT then transports the viewer into a wild ride in the “real world” designed by a young boy’s imagination. A 90-second extended version of the spot will be available on the Audi of America YouTube channel.

Capitalizing on Emmy season, Audi teamed up with one of TV’s favorite ex-couples for a comedic video entitled “Kermit Gets Set Up.” Viewers watch as Kermit the Frog and the confident Miss Piggy meet up for the first time since their breakup for the ultimate Hollywood power lunch. The video features appearances by some of this year’s most popular female Emmy nominees including Julie Bowen (“Modern Family”), Viola Davis (“How to Get Away With Murder”), a hilarious appearance by Emmy-nominated Joel McHale (“The Soup”), and a special cameo by the 2016 A3 Sportback e-tron plug-in hybrid.
